East African Cultural Event - Promotional Animations

This project involved creating animated visuals for an East African cultural event to convey the atmosphere and experience audiences could expect. The goal was to capture a warm, ambient setting that blended tradition with a modern feel, featuring a live band, a dancer with minimal traditional movements, and dynamic lighting.

I produced two animations: one hand-illustrated in Procreate, and a second collage-based animation composed of imagery inspired by East African culture. Both pieces were designed to communicate the event’s mood and energy while remaining visually cohesive and optimized for vertical viewing and social media engagement.
